Good buy
Haven't had a chance to use these products for my baby yet, but I was impressed with the look and feel of the kit. I doubt the medicine dropper and spoon will get much use, but the other items seem good quality and I am looking foreward to trying them out!

A collection of useless junk
I know the title sounds dramatic, but it truly is all useless- and some dangerous! I put this item on my registry because I thought it was the perfect catch-all for me as a first-time expectant mom. I didn't know what I'd need so I loved the idea of a kit that came with everything. And signed off on by the American Red Cross? Even better.

Well, I use the brush.

The rattle is okay.

The nail clippers are extremely dangerous and I cut my daughter's finger quite badly. The way the clippers are constructed, the finger tip is obstructed from view. There are many reviews to this effect here on Amazon for the clippers.[...]

The aspirator doesn't work -it's way too hard to squeeze. Instead we use the one the hospital gave us.

The nail files are too weak to file properly.

I've never used anything else in there and my daughter is 6 1/2 months old.

Unnecessary--you just don't need this
I was gifted this and never opened it. Save youself some money and buy a few of these things individually IF you need them. When you deliver in a big hospital, they give you a digital thermometer and nose aspirator/rincer. Baby nail clippers are not noticably different adult nail clippers.

Not worth the money
This is a waste of money. The tongue cleaner does not fit into a baby's mouth. The aspirator is not strong enough (use the one from the hospital instead) there only two items I use from this kit 1. the hair brush and the nail clipper - much cheaper to buy these separately. Also invest in a good quality thermometer, not the one in the pack

Would rather buy items seperately
This kit does have a lot of useful items, but they are not high quality and don't all work properly. For instance, the nasal aspirator was nearly impossible to squeeze rendering it useless. The nail clippers got rusty after being exposed to boiling water.
The measuring spoon with the stopper was helpful in drop feeding my son for a couple of days.
Overall, I'd rather spend a bit more and buy higher quality items individually.
